Reserva Carmenère is born in the Rapel valley, approximately 180 kilometers south of Santiago, from vineyards planted on rocky-loam soil located near the Cachapoal river. Grapes are harvested by hand in the wee hours of the morning and then selected on a sorting table. These precautions are necessary to ensure the obtainment of a ripe and concentrated Carmenère of great depth.
